# Octrahire for developers: API, webhooks and MCP

Connect your own systems and assistants to Octrahire. The public API, webhooks and the MCP server are in beta today.

## What connects, and its status

- **MCP with OAuth sign-in and actions you confirm** (In beta): For Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
- **MCP with personal tokens, read-only** (In beta): Search, ask and read transcripts from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients.
- **Public REST API v1** (In beta): Roles, applications, interviews, scorecards, offers and approvals.
- **API keys with scopes** (In beta): Several named keys per workspace, each with its own scopes and expiry.
- **OAuth access tokens** (In beta): For partner apps, acting as the person who signed in.
- **Standard Webhooks** (In beta): Signed hiring events, with secrets you can rotate, a delivery log and replay.
- **OpenAPI 3.1 specification** (In beta): Generated from the API, for clients and code generators.

Available: live in production today. In beta: deployed and usable today; it may still change. Coming soon: not usable yet.

## Rules every credential follows

- It acts as a person or workspace, with scopes it can never exceed
- Blind review applies: hidden candidates come back without a name, email, phone or photo
- No deletes, apart from removing your own webhooks and revoking credentials
- Writes accept an Idempotency-Key, so a retry never does the same thing twice
- Every call from outside the dashboard is recorded with the credential that made it
