# Octrahire in Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini via MCP

Ask about candidates and interviews from the assistant you already use. Octrahire speaks MCP, the open protocol AI assistants use to connect to other software.

## What connects, and its status

- **Claude** (In beta): Add Octrahire as a custom connector in Claude's settings, on the web, desktop and mobile, and sign in with your Octrahire account.
- **ChatGPT** (In beta): Add Octrahire as a custom connector in ChatGPT's developer mode, and sign in with your Octrahire account.
- **Microsoft Copilot** (In beta): Use Octrahire from Copilot Studio agents and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- **Gemini Enterprise** (In beta): Add Octrahire as a custom MCP connector in Gemini Enterprise.
- **Claude Code** (In beta): Add Octrahire with one command, then sign in with your Octrahire account or use a personal token.
- **Codex** (In beta): Add Octrahire to config.toml, then sign in or use a personal token.
- **Cursor** (In beta): Add Octrahire to mcp.json, then sign in or use a personal token.

Available: live in production today. In beta: deployed and usable today; it may still change. Coming soon: not usable yet.

## What an assistant can do

In beta. Sign in with your Octrahire account, choose what the assistant may do, and it can:

- Search what was said across interviews and résumés, with the quote, speaker and timestamp
- Ask a question across interviews and get an answer that cites the passages it came from
- Find and compare candidates, see a role's pipeline, and read AI interview reports and transcripts
- Read report columns, such as notice period or expected salary, with the quoted evidence, and your Emiratisation status
- Move a candidate, invite to an AI interview, schedule an interview, add a note, submit your scorecard, draft an offer or start a role from a job description

Stage moves, invitations, scheduling, scorecards and offers show you what will happen and wait for you to confirm. A personal token still works in Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, and only reads.

## Cards inside the assistant

In assistants that show MCP Apps, a candidate card, an interview scorecard and a side-by-side comparison appear in the conversation, in English and Arabic.

## Safe by design

- The assistant acts as you: the same role, the same blind review, and only the access you chose
- No tool can delete anything
- Hiring, rejecting and offers always need your confirmation, and a person makes every decision
- Revoke a token or a sign-in at any time, and every action is recorded with the assistant that took it

## Can I use Octrahire from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, in beta. Add Octrahire as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio or Gemini Enterprise, or in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, and sign in with your Octrahire account. The assistant can search interviews, ask questions across them, compare candidates and read reports, and it can move a candidate, invite, schedule or draft an offer after you confirm. Octrahire is not listed in the Claude or ChatGPT directories yet.

## Questions

### Will the assistant see candidate names under blind review?

No. The assistant acts as the person who connected it, so blind review applies exactly as it does in the dashboard.

### Can an assistant reject a candidate?

Only after you confirm. The assistant shows you what will happen and waits for your yes, and rejecting or hiring also needs your reason. A person makes every decision.

### Is Octrahire in the Claude or ChatGPT directory?

Not yet. Add it as a custom connector with the server address on the setup page, and sign in with your Octrahire account.
