Hiring alerts in your Slack channels today. Approvals, scorecards and questions from a Slack app are being built.

## What connects, and its status

- **Channel alerts** (Available): Notes ready, scorecard due or overdue, debrief ready, candidate moved and tomorrow's interviews, in English or Arabic.
- **Approvals in the Slack app** (Coming soon): Approve or decline requisitions and offers from a message.
- **Scorecard reminders** (Coming soon): A reminder after each interview that opens your scorecard in Slack.
- **/octrahire and ask in a thread** (Coming soon): Look up a candidate or ask about your interviews without leaving Slack.

Available: live in production today. In beta: deployed and usable today; it may still change. Coming soon: not usable yet.

## Alerts, today

Create a Slack incoming webhook for a channel and paste its address into Octrahire's notification settings. Choose which events the channel gets and its language.

Alerts wait for your workspace's quiet hours, and follow blind review, so a channel never sees a name the hiring board hides.

## The Slack app, being built

The Slack app adds buttons and a scorecard form to the messages, a /octrahire command and answers in a thread. Each person links their Slack account to their Octrahire seat once, so every action is checked against their permissions and recorded.

It is not in the Slack Marketplace yet.

## Does Octrahire work with Slack?

Yes. Today Octrahire posts hiring alerts to Slack channels, in English or Arabic, respecting quiet hours and blind review: notes ready, scorecards due, debriefs ready, candidates moved and tomorrow's interviews. A Slack app with approvals, scorecard reminders that open a form, a /octrahire command and questions in a thread is being built.
