Candidates in the UAE live on WhatsApp, and so do many hiring teams. Octrahire sends alerts and reminders there today, and two-way messages are being built.

## What connects, and its status

- **Team alerts** (Available): For interviewers and hiring owners who choose WhatsApp: notes ready, scorecards due, debriefs ready and tomorrow's interviews.
- **Interview reminders to candidates** (Available): For candidates who opted in, in English or Arabic.
- **Candidate replies** (Coming soon): Replies land in the candidate's thread in Octrahire, next to email.
- **Short screening by WhatsApp** (Coming soon): A few job questions, then a link to the voice interview.
- **SMS fallback** (Coming soon): A text message where a candidate has not opted in to WhatsApp.

Available: live in production today. In beta: deployed and usable today; it may still change. Coming soon: not usable yet.

## Built for one purpose

WhatsApp's business rules do not allow general-purpose AI chatbots, so Octrahire's WhatsApp messages are for hiring only. The interview itself happens on Octrahire's own page, which the message links to.

Candidates choose whether to get WhatsApp messages, and messages use templates in English or Arabic. Team members choose WhatsApp, email or both, with their own quiet hours.
