Reach your Emiratisation target before the deadline
See how many Emiratis you still need to hire and what missing the target would cost, then give every Emirati applicant a structured interview the day they apply, in Arabic or English.
What your target means in people
9 Emiratis still to hire
AED 1,080,000 contribution at risk a yearAED 90,000 a month
Each square is one skilled job: filled ones are Emiratis today, outlined ones still need an Emirati.
AED 10,000 a month for each unfilled position, from 1 July 2026 (MOHRE). Rounded up to whole people; MOHRE doesn't publish its rounding. For companies of 50 or more on the 2% a year path, MOHRE's stated aim is 10% by the end of 2026. Your own target depends on your baseline; check it on the MOHRE portal. An estimate from the numbers you type. Not an official MOHRE figure.

The rules, in short
- Private companies with 50 or more employees must raise the share of Emiratis in skilled jobs by 2% a year: 1% by 30 June and 1% by 31 December
- Companies with 20 to 49 employees in 14 sectors had to hire one Emirati in 2024 and another in 2025, and keep them
- From 1 July 2026, MOHRE charges AED 10,000 a month, AED 120,000 a year, for each position not filled with an Emirati
- From 1 July 2026, Emiratis paid less than AED 6,000 a month do not count towards the target
- Paying the contribution does not remove the target: the jobs still need to be filled
What missing it costs
A company three Emiratis short of its target faces AED 360,000 a year in contributions at the rate MOHRE set from 1 July 2026, and still has to fill the roles. The tracker shows this figure for your own numbers.
How it works
- An owner enters your skilled headcount and the Emiratis in it on a date. Only an owner can change this baseline
- Octrahire counts the Emiratis you hire after that date, from the nationality candidates declare
- You see the target for each deadline, the gap and the contribution at risk, and the Emirati pipeline in each open role
- Every applicant gets the same structured interview and rubric, in Arabic or English, and your team reviews them the same week
- A person makes every decision, and the decision log shows what you did
Nafis-ready, not a Nafis integration
Employers post jobs and find candidates through the Nafis platform themselves, and we know of no public Nafis API. Octrahire lays out your open roles as the fields the Nafis job form asks for, as text to copy and a CSV, so your team can paste them in. In beta.
Octrahire does not file anything with MOHRE or Nafis and is not affiliated with either. The numbers it shows come from the baseline you enter and the hires you record, not from official records.
How does Octrahire help with Emiratisation?
Octrahire's Emiratisation tracker shows your target for each deadline, the Emiratis hired since the baseline you enter, the gap and the contribution at risk, which MOHRE set at AED 10,000 a month per unfilled position from 1 July 2026. It shows the Emirati pipeline in each open role, and gives every applicant a structured AI interview in Arabic or English, with a person making every decision. Nafis-ready job posts and an export are in beta; Octrahire is not an official Nafis integration.
