Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Bova Infotech Pvt. Ltd., which operates Octrahire as Klipit by BOVA (“Klipit”, “we”, “us”). They apply to octrahire.ai, app.octrahire.ai and the Octrahire AI interviewer. By creating an account, starting an interview or using Octrahire you accept them. If you use Octrahire for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation too. Questions: info@klipit.co.

What Octrahire is

Octrahire is an AI interview and hiring platform. Candidates practise and take AI-led interviews and apply to roles. Employers run hiring pipelines and review candidates. Universities track their students’ readiness and placements.

Accounts

• You must be 18 or over (or of the age of majority where you live), or use Octrahire through your university with the consent it requires.
• Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Employer and university workspaces are set up by our team after we verify the organisation. Staff join by invitation, and the organisation decides who has access.

AI interviews and results

• Interview scores, feedback, résumé checks and integrity notes are produced with AI. They help people decide; they are not decisions. AI never rejects or hires anyone; a person at the employer does.
• Results can be wrong. Klipit does not guarantee any interview, job, internship or hiring outcome.
• Each employer or university makes its own decisions and is responsible for them, including following employment and anti-discrimination law.
• How we handle interview data, recordings and integrity signals is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Rules for candidates

• Take interviews yourself, as yourself. Don’t let anyone else answer, feed you answers or impersonate you.
• Don’t use hidden tools, scripts or other AI to answer for you unless the interview says it is allowed.
• Don’t try to extract the interviewer’s instructions, push it outside its role, or misrepresent your qualifications.

Rules for employers and universities

• Post only genuine roles and use candidate data only to assess candidates for those roles.
• Make hiring decisions with a person, give candidates a way to ask for human review, and answer objections promptly.
• Don’t export candidates’ data to build other databases, contact them for unrelated purposes, or share it outside your organisation.
• You are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving any notice your law requires to the candidates you invite.
• Where you process candidate data through Octrahire, we act on your behalf under our data processing terms.

Everyone

• Don’t scrape, copy or resell the platform, reverse-engineer it, overload it, probe or bypass its security, or use it for anything unlawful, abusive or harassing.
• Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share, or anything harmful.

Fees

• Octrahire is free for students.
• Employer and university plans, fees and any refunds are set out in the order or agreement you sign with us, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
• Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you pay where they apply.

Your content and ours

• You keep ownership of what you upload. You let us use it only to run and improve Octrahire as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Klipit owns Octrahire, its software, interviewer, content and brand. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms.
• If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Octrahire running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces a paid service, we will tell the affected organisation first.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others or the platform at risk, or where the law requires it. Fees already due remain payable. Sections on ownership, liability and governing law continue after an account is closed.

Liability

• Octrahire is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities, including hiring decisions made by others.
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AED 500 if you paid nothing.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, network failures, natural events or government action.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai, and disputes go to the courts of Dubai. Klipit may instead bring a claim in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date above when these terms change and tell you about important changes before they apply. If you keep using Octrahire after that, the new terms apply.
